How it all started...
Our story begins in May of 1983 when Bill Rogers became lead pastor of what was then Haven of Rest Tabernacle. Pastor Bill credits his preparation for this role to the training he received by many great men of God including Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Lester Sumrall and his father Roy Rogers, Sr. Soon after the transition of leadership a transformation began and Word of Life Fellowship (now Word of Life Bentonville) was birthed.
We are a charismatic group of believers who long for the presence of God. Our emphasis is on spiritual development which we believe comes through the preaching and teaching of faith, grace and righteousness. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we rely heavily on the Spirit’s leading in our services.

Where we are headed...
As of the fall of 2023, Word of Life has a 3 tier plan for future:
1. Stability:
Pastor Bill Rogers will pastor for 10 more years leading Word of Life to experience what God has promised for the last 40 plus years - we will be a portal church.
2. Growth:
During the next 10 years, Word of Life will plant 3 daughter churches as we work to expand the vision, vitality and expression of Word of Life and the leading of the Holy Spirit and His work through us.
3. Presence:
We will expand our current main campus with the next generation in mind to equip the saints for ministry (Ephesians 4), strengthen the family unit and bridge the generations to accomplish in unity the destiny they have together.
